Jill practiced for more than 40 years in commercial, construction, real estate and intellectual property litigation.

Jill Nexon Berman

Board Certified by The Florida Bar as a specialist in Business Litigation, Jill is AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell. She is a Certified Civil Mediator, a Certified Family Mediator, and a Southern District of Florida Certified Mediator.

Jill takes a proactive approach to the process of mediation, rather than engaging in “shuttle diplomacy,” while still allowing the parties to control their own destinies. She first became a mediator because so few experienced business lawyers are mediators.

While her emphasis is on business disputes, she also mediates family and injury cases. Now retired from law practice, she is entirely focused on helping clients resolve conflicts.

MEDIATION FEES

TWO-PARTY OR THREE-PARTY MEDIATION
(4 hour minimum)
$600/hour, split evenly between parties

MULTI-PARTY MEDIATION (Full Day*)
(4 hour minimum)
Four or More Parties – $175/party per hour

*Note: a half-day will be scheduled if requested, but it is usually difficult to conduct a multi-party mediation in a half-day.
